Position Overview

We are seeking a creative, self-directed Social Media Content Creator to support our marketing efforts on a part-time contractor basis. This role will focus on planning, creating, and managing engaging content that highlights our team, services, and customer experience.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role. No benefits are provided, and the schedule will be based on agreed deliverables and content needs.

What You'll Do

Create and publish engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
Capture on-site photos and short-form videos of technicians, jobs, and company culture
Write captions that align with our brand voice and local service focus
Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar
Schedule posts using social media management tools
Monitor comments and messages, and flag leads or service inquiries to our team
Track basic performance metrics and provide a simple monthly report
Stay current on social media trends and recommend new content ideas

What We're Looking For

Experience managing social media for a business or brand
Strong writing and visual storytelling skills
Proficiency with Canva, Adobe, or similar design tools
Basic video editing for Reels, TikTok, or Shorts
Understanding of social media analytics and engagement strategies
Organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines independently
Ability to visit the office or job sites periodically for content capture

Preferred (Not Required)

Experience with home services, construction, or trades
Experience running or assisting with paid social media ads

1099 independent contractor
