We offer individualized tutoring to students of all ages in Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Study Skills, and Test Prep for high school entrance exams, SAT/ACT, ASVAB, and GED.Your typical day at Huntington will include:
- Greeting and making a personal connection with each of your students.
- Doing what you love: TEACHING, without all the take-home work of a traditional classroom
- LESSON PLANNING OR TAKE-HOME WORK. All you do is TEACH!
- Make materials accessible and relevant to students of many backgrounds and interest levels.
- Helping students set and achieve realistic goals.
- Giving students tools that will help them succeed, not only in a particular setting but throughout their lives.
- Collaborating with full-time staff to meet the needs of each student.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A bachelor's or master's degree.
- A teacher's certification.
- Genuine care for and commitment to the success of students.
- The ability to communicate effectively with a variety of students.
