🐾 What You’ll Be Doing

Perform spay and neuter surgeries 30-35 (high-quality, efficient techniques encouraged)
Conduct physical exams and diagnose medical conditions
Develop and implement treatment plans
Perform small animal soft tissue surgeries (mentorship available)
Provide preventive and wellness care
Educate clients on treatment options and preventive health
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with California regulations

Requirements

✅ Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited program
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of California
Ability to obtain a DEA certificate
Minimum of 2 years of veterinary medical experience, including 1 year of surgical experience in spaying/neutering
Passion for accessible veterinary care
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
New graduates welcome — mentorship provided
