Part-Time Weekend - Security Officer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Security Professional / RoverSecurity Patrol Officers will be responsible for monitoring Life Safety and Critical Infrastructure byperforming tours throughout the Gallagher Campus. Additional duties include access control, escorting,response to alarms and events, and relieving fixed posts. All security activities shall be coordinated andcommunicated to the ROC via the intercom, radio or landline.
2. Security Professionals identify and report Life Safety issues, tour the building to prevent and identifypotential incidents and respond accordingly to an event. Monitor critical infrastructure; provideperimeter security, monitor control access points, i.e. turnstiles, dock, emergency exits. This post willrequire knowledge of the property in its entirety and the use of an access control card or post keys toenter required locations.
3. Security Professionals must report anything out of the ordinary to the ROC Analyst. Security Professionalwill be required to fill out a Daily Activity Report (DAR) and have knowledge of emergency SOPs as wellas general working knowledge of other posts as they will be reliving various posts.

Minimum Qualifications of Security Officers:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
•  Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate security, hospitality, or a customer service-focusedenvironment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using computers, standard security software, and Microsoft Office Suitefor reporting and documentation.
• Requires a high degree of professional maturity and sound judgment necessary to handlecomplex tenant interactions and sensitive security matters.
• Previous security experience within a High-Rise Commercial Office Building environment isstrongly preferred and will be considered a significant asset.
• Clean Driving Record 

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Bi-lingual considered a plus
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required

• Positions starting at $20.00, Sa 0600-1400 & Su 0600-1800
