Job Description

Seeking a new direct hire opportunity? Don’t miss this role! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturer in New York Mills, MN. We are seeking candidates for Parts Fabricator roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these direct-hire opportunities ranges between $17.50-$19.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? Read below for more information!What you will do as a Parts Fabricator:

Operate CNC press brake machine to bend parts according to specifications
Set up, operate, and/or tend press brake to bend aluminum material
Start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data
Load, install, and correctly set up the tooling required
Examine completed work pieces for defects
Participate in equipment preventative maintenance at the operator level
Responsible for compliance to safety policies and procedures, as well as identifying risks and hazards prior to job completion
Work with team and other departments to ensure quality products and follow documented work instructions

What you need to be a Parts Fabricator:

Basic knowledge and understanding of fabrication and hydraulic press operations
Ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids
Knowledge of basic dimensional measuring and ability to quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools
Must be a self-starter and team player with good safety awareness
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
Ability to sit, squat, and bend in various awkward positions for certain lengths of time
