SUMMARY

This position is responsible for all facets of parts ordering processes, which encompasses customer service and order processing. The position entails order entry, price quoting, inquiries, invoicing, and sales. The nature of this work involves attention to detail, ability to source all parts requirements for both internal and external customers in an efficient and timely manner.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide customer service and process parts orders, providing customer with technical data and accurate part numbers and provide follow up to customer inquiries.
• Quote pricing accurately based upon recommendations.
• Prepare quotes timely and efficient while ensuring all necessary parts are captured.
• Perform technical research in combustion engines, alternator and power generation components.
• Estimate labor times to complete repairs.
• Create and receive purchase order numbers and process PO requests.

COMPETENCIES/REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of two years’ experience in parts research
• Previous experience with and extensive knowledge about power generation parts identification including search for parts in manuals and online using engine serial numbers and or vin # a plus.
• Knowledge in all aspects of original equipment material pertaining to power generation a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

Hourly Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00
