Parts Sales ManagerResponsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall management of Outside Parts Sales and Inside Parts Sales staff  
  • Responsible for managing, monitoring, and training all outside sales staff to be a profitable, productive, and effective sales force in the market area of responsibility  
  • Work to motivate all parts personnel inclusive of Parts Manager to provide high levels of customer service
  • Responsible for facilitating positive and productive interaction between the sales staff and the remainder of the parts department personnel
  • Responsible for the preparation of sales strategies, assignment of territories and the development of marketing plans for the parts department
  • Responsible for active involvement with day-to-day sales efforts and sales staff
  • Work cohesively with the Parts Manager to ensure profit and efficiency of the department
  • Responsible for overall customer service relative to both internal and external customers
  • Responsible for fostering cohesion between the parts department and other dealership departments
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Parts Sales Manager Requirements:

  • Education:  A high school diploma and/or GED required. Combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skill and abilities. Training in a Dealership environment preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years’ experience in a Dealership and three years in management preferred.
  • Licenses or Certificates: A valid driver’s license is required. Certification of ability to operate a forklift is required.
