Essential Functions of the Job:
- Supervises employees in the receiving, storing, and processing of the returnable items (cores) to the return center.
- Supervises the employees engaged in pulling and filling outgoing shipments and the preparation of items for the shipment.
- Supervise the parts delivery staff.
- Performs cycle counts to ensure constant accuracy of the parts inventory and turn data into Inventory Clerk/Supervisor.
- Works with the Back Parts Counter Staff to make fast parts deliveries to our Service Dept.
- Oversees the preparation for upcoming annual physical inventories and works with the Inventory control Supervisor/Clerk.
- Oversees outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
- Advises Parts Manager and/or Inventory Clerk of any shortages and investigates the issue.
- Provides supervision, training, scheduling, and guidance to warehouse employees.
Qualifications needed for the position:
- Must have knowledge and experience in a warehouse environment. Prefer 3-5 years in varying positions, such as picker, packer, shipping, receiving and inventory control.
- Must be able to analyze stock item history and activity to determine discrepancy origin and establish policies/procedures to minimize discrepancies.
- Excellent customer service skills internally and externally.
- Must possess a high degree of product and technical knowledge.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Must have superior problem-solving skills and daily flexibility. Must be very detailed oriented.
- Efficient in multi-tasking with strong organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stoop, bend, climb, crawl, lift, reach, & any other position necessary to work on a diesel engine & truck, including tires.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to work in a hot or cold, wet or humid, moderately noisy environment.
