Part-Time Math Tutor (Grades 1-12) - Ideal for STEM Majors & Future Teachers

Who Love math and enjoy helping others succeed?

Mathnasium of Mathnasium (ID: 2422101), is hiring part-time math tutors to work with students in grades 1-12. This is an excellent opportunity for college students, STEM majors, and future teachers who want hands-on teaching experience while making a real impact in students' academic confidence and success.

Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Prefers Monday through Thursday

Optional Saturday hours may be available

This role is ideal for college students with daytime class schedules.

What You Will Do:

  • Teach math concepts to students in grades 1-12
  • Provide individualized instruction in a small "team teaching method"
  • Help students build confidence and problem-solving skills
  • Track student progress during sessions
  • Support a positive and encouraging learning environment

No lesson planning required - all curriculum and materials are provided.

Qualifications:

  • Strong math skills (Algebra I & 2, Geometry, Trig, Statistic required; AP Calculus or AP Statistics preferred)
  • Currently enrolled in or completed coursework in math, education, or STEM
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, professional, and positive attitude
  • Passion for helping students succeed

All candidates will complete a short math assessment during the hiring process.
