Position Overview The Business Development / Sales Specialist is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth within the laboratory and healthcare market. This individual will work closely with existing and prospective customers to understand their needs, present appropriate solutions, and build long-term partnerships.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in business development, sales, account management, or a related healthcare/laboratory environment.
- Experience selling histology and digital pathology capital equipment.
- Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, particularly within pathology and histology environments, is preferred.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Comfortable prospecting and developing new business.
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented.
- Ability to understand technical products and clearly communicate their value to customers.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
