We are looking for a Patient Accounts Coordinator who is detail-oriented, motivated, and ready to make a meaningful impact behind the scenes in healthcare operations.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with insurance and billing processes, and contributing to the financial success of a mission-driven healthcare organization.Position DetailsFull-TimeIn-Office Position – Grand Forks, NDWhat You'll DoProcess and submit medical claims accurately and efficiently
Verify insurance eligibility and patient benefits
Review billing documentation and ensure proper coding compliance
Follow up on denied, rejected, or unpaid claims
Work with insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies
Assist patients with billing questions and payment-related concerns
Support revenue cycle operations and reimbursement processes
Maintain accurate records and billing documentation
Stay current on billing regulations, coding updates, and payer requirements
What We're Looking ForStrong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems
Experience with medical billing, insurance claims, or EHR systems preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology, coding, or revenue cycle processes preferred
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
