- Teach core patient care concepts, including vital signs, patient safety, infection control, basic nursing skills, professional communication, and other essential clinical competencies.*
- Prepare students with the technical knowledge and practical skills needed for industry-recognized certifications and entry-level patient care careers.*
- Utilize the provided curriculum while maintaining student records and basic classroom documentation.*
- Mentor and encourage students by sharing real-world experiences, best practices, and professional expectations from today's healthcare environment.
- Patient Care Technician (CPCT/A, NCPCT, or equivalent)*
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)*
- Registered Nurse (RN)*
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)*
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)*
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)*
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)*
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)*
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- Minimum of 3 years of recent patient care experience OR at least 1 year of experience teaching Patient Care Technician, Nursing Assistant, Medical Assisting, or related healthcare courses.
- Current healthcare certification or licensure appropriate to your clinical background (such as RN, LVN/LPN, CNA, CPCT/A, NCPCT, CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NCMA).*
- Current BLS certification preferred.*
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.*
- Teaching, mentoring, coaching, precepting, or training experience is preferred but not required.*
- Ability to successfully complete FBI fingerprinting/background screening.
- $85$93 per instructional session (based on experience and certifications)*
- Flexible 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity
