Patient Services Greeter
Dallas, TX
The Patient Services Greeter is the heartbeat of the clinic's front-of-house experience, setting the tone for every patient visit with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. As the first point of contact, this role creates a welcoming, reassuring environment while ensuring patients feel supported, informed, and valued from the moment they arrive.
Full time: Monday- Friday 6:30 am- 3:00 pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Delivers a standout first impression by greeting all patients and visitors promptly, warmly, and professionally.
- Check-in patients and communicate directions.
- Guides and escort patients throughout the clinic, ensuring a smooth, stress-free experience.
- Keep patients informed with clear, compassionate communication regarding wait times and delays.
- Administrative duties.
- Provides exceptional service to patients, visitors, and internal team members, consistently going above and beyond expectations.
- Maintains an inviting, polished lobby and coffee bar, ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Receives, organizes, and restocks breakroom and hospitality supplies.
- Steps in to support patient transport and provide coverage for receptionist breaks and lunches as needed.
- Represents the clinic with a friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor at all times.
- Safeguards patient privacy by strictly adhering to HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
- Actively contributes ideas and participates in initiatives that elevate patient satisfaction, operational efficiency, and workplace culture.
- Embody Cooper's purpose and core values while fostering a positive, team-oriented atmosphere.
- Follows all clinic policies and procedures with consistency and accountability.
- Maintains dependable, punctual, and regular on-site attendance.
- Performs additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, time management and attention to detail skills.
- Possess problem-solving skills, be self-motivated, and strive for professionalism.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to work effectively and consistently with limited direct supervision.
- Flexible and adaptable as each day may not look like the previous.
- Compelling ability to recommend and educate clientele on programs and services.
- Strong work ethic.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Experience in customer service environment and have a desire to provide hospitality.
- Previous experience in a medical office, physician practice, hospital, or acute care setting preferred.
- Experience including direct patient contact, computer usage, appointment scheduling, and data entry preferred.
- Previous administrative and/or clerical experience and/or training preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to and occasionally move up to 30 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and/or sitting at a desk.
- Comfortable being in the outside elements.
