Patient Services Representative-Front Desk Receptionist

Job Description:Coastal Women's Healthcare is looking for a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As one of the first faces our patients see, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors. If you enjoy helping people, staying organized, and being part of a team that makes a difference in women's healthcare, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll Do:Greet patients and visitors promptly and professionally, offering assistance in a courteous and respectful manner.Provide necessary forms, instructions, and directions to patients and visitors.Accurately check in patients through our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, confirming personal and insurance information.Update and maintain patient data, including insurance details, and ensure HIPAA compliance.Scan insurance cards and consent forms, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.Direct patients to appropriate waiting areas and assist with any inquiries.Collect co-pays, balances due, and procedure payments, ensuring accurate payment processing.Post payments as needed, keeping records up to date.Communicate with nursing staff regarding patient wait times or delays, ensuring smooth coordination.Maintain a clean, organized waiting area to create a welcoming environment for patients.Assist with the care and maintenance of office equipment and supplies to ensure efficient daily operations.What We're Looking For:Previous experience in a medical office, front desk, or patient services role preferred.Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude both with patients and staff.Ability to multitask, handle sensitive information with care, and maintain a high level of organization.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team while maintaining a professional attitude and positive, respectful approach.Proficiency with EMR systems and basic office software is a plus.Why Work at Coastal Women's Healthcare?Do work that matters.
