Payments Risk & Analytics Manager
Location: New York, NYWork Mode: Hybrid 2 3 days onsiteEmployment Type: Full-Time
Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Payments Risk & Analytics professional to support regulatory, risk, and compliance initiatives within the card payments ecosystem. This role will translate regulatory requirements into actionable analytics, reporting, controls, and ongoing monitoring solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze regulatory requirements and assess their impact on payments, settlement, and operational processes.
- Extract, analyze, and interpret data to develop dashboards, reports, and monitoring solutions.
- Define business requirements and document processes, controls, procedures, and workflows.
- Design and implement risk and control frameworks, including automated control monitoring.
- Partner with Business, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams on regulatory initiatives.
- Identify trends, control gaps, and operational risks through data analysis.
- Present findings, risks, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- 5+ years of experience in Payments, Risk, Analytics, Operations, or Regulatory Compliance.
- Strong understanding of payments and settlement processes.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong hands-on SQL experience.
- Experience developing dashboards and reporting using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
- Experience with control design, risk monitoring, governance, and regulatory programs.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Card payments and network settlement.
- Issuer, Acquirer, and Card Network operations.
- Settlement, reconciliation, and payment operations.
- Regulatory compliance and operational risk management.
- Experience working with geographically distributed/global teams.
