Key Responsibilities:
- Execute payroll processing tasks by utilizing established procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payroll delivery.
- Identify and assess routine payroll issues, utilizing standard procedures to evaluate options and make informed decisions without requiring supervisory approval.
- Understand the interdependencies of assigned duties within the payroll team and how they align with the functions of related departments, contributing to overall organizational efficiency.
- Independently manage and prioritize personal workload to meet deadlines while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure the quality of payroll services by following standardized procedures, positively impacting team performance through attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effectively communicate straightforward information to team members and stakeholders, facilitating smooth operations and collaboration within the team.
- Perform a range of routine payroll activities with established skills and under moderate supervision, demonstrating proficiency in day-to-day payroll operations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPP or FPC) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing or administration, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll software and systems; strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to identify and resolve routine payroll issues using established procedures; strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively to team members and stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines independently.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team environment, understanding how individual roles contribute to overall team goals.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies as needed.
- Confidentiality: Strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection principles related to payroll and employee information.
