Job Description
Position Summary:The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing payroll accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with company policies and California labor laws. This role requires strong attention to detail, experience with payroll systems, and the ability to manage multiple payroll-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll with a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Work with ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing and reporting
- Reconcile employee off-cycle payroll, including validation and attendance records
- Calculate wages, overtime, and time-off balances accurately
- Maintain and update payroll records
- Ensure compliance with California meal and rest break requirements
- Submit staffing agency hours accurately and on time
- Adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards
- Provide receptionist coverage when needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience
- Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now
- Strong understanding of California labor laws and payroll regulations
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
