Payroll Administrator

hat you get to do:

• Coordinate with multi-state business unit operations and Human Resources to process payroll

• Authority to resolve team member payroll issues within established guidelines

• Validate pay data entries, calculations and processing of team member paychecks

• Manipulate and import pay data and run related audit reports

• Process manual paychecks when needed

• Calculate special payments, bonuses, rate changes and vacation payouts as needed

• Complete wage and employment verification requests as needed

• Providing administrative support to the Finance functions and data analysis using Excel.

• Perform other duties as assigned

What it takes to succeed:

• Must have a high school diploma (Bachelor's degree preferred)

• Must have at least 1 year of payroll experience

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Must be proficient with MS Office - emphasis in Word and Excel

• Must work well in a team based environment

• Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Must have attention to detail

• Must be able to work to deadlines.

• Must have an understanding of state and federal payroll laws and tax requirements

• Must have a customer service focus

• Must be able to handle confidential information in an appropriate manner

• May be required to work holidays, weekends, and extended hours beyond regular business days to accommodate processing schedules

• Demonstrated payroll processing experience with prior ADP and Workday experience preferred

• Garnishment knowledge preferred

• Wisely Pay Card knowledge preferred
