Payroll Analyst (Contract | UKG Pro Required) Orlando, FL preferred | Remote (EST) considered$28$32/hour
Our client is looking for a hands-on Payroll Analyst to step into a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This is a production-heavy roleideal for someone who can confidently own payroll processing, catch errors quickly, and navigate employee questions without hand-holding.
What youll be doing:
- Process multi-state payroll on a weekly/bi-weekly cycle
- Review and audit payroll data (earnings, taxes, deductions) for accuracy
- Handle payroll discrepancies, adjustments, and employee inquiries in real time
- Reconcile payroll to general ledger and benefits data
- Support reporting, audits, and year-end activities (W-2s, etc.)
- Manage items like garnishments, retro pay, and manual checks
What you need to bring:
- Hands-on UKG Pro experience (this is a must-have)
- 35 years of full-cycle payroll processing
- Experience with multi-state payroll (non-negotiable)
- Strong understanding of payroll taxes and compliance
- Solid Excel skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-volume environment
