Payroll Associate

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR and Payroll Clerk to join our team at Lineage Logistics headquarters. As an HR and Payroll Clerk, you will provide administrative support to the HR and Payroll teams, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include mail processing, payroll support, and assisting with HR-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Mail Processing:

• Open and scan mail for distribution to responsible parties, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
• Review mail for opportunities to enroll in paperless communications, promoting digital transformation and reducing paper usage.

Payroll Support:

• Assist with payroll-related administrative tasks, such as submitting garnishments and processing payroll-related documents.
• Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and management, providing accurate and timely information.

HR Support:

• Assist the local HR team with completing forms, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team, as needed.

Administrative Duties:

• Perform other administrative tasks assigned by management, such as data entry, record-keeping, and special projects.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience in HR, payroll, or a related field; experience in a similar role, preferably in a logistics or transportation industry.
• Basic knowledge of HR and payroll principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
