Job Description

Salary Range: $125,000 to 140,000/yearSummary:

Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end multi-state payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution
  • Oversee administration of company-wide benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life insurance, disability, 401(k), and leave programs
  • Serve as primary liaison with payroll and benefits vendors; lead annual open enrollment and employee communications
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll and benefits data to maintain compliance and data integrity
  • Monitor and implement updates related to federal, state, and local wage and tax laws
  • Support compensation-related reporting, including W-2 processing, ACA filings, 401(k) compliance testing, and audits
  • Provide responsive employee support for payroll and benefits inquiries
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance leadership on system enhancements, reporting improvements, and company-wide initiatives
Requirements:
  • 5 years of payroll and benefits experience; law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and experience managing employees across multiple jurisdictions
  • Proficiency with payroll/HRIS systems (ADP preferred) and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a collaborative mindset
  • CPP, PHR, SHRM-CP, or related certification is a plus
  • Minimum Education: Associate's Degree
