Job Description
Salary Range: $125,000 to 140,000/yearSummary:

- Manage end-to-end multi-state payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution
- Oversee administration of company-wide benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life insurance, disability, 401(k), and leave programs
- Serve as primary liaison with payroll and benefits vendors; lead annual open enrollment and employee communications
- Conduct regular audits of payroll and benefits data to maintain compliance and data integrity
- Monitor and implement updates related to federal, state, and local wage and tax laws
- Support compensation-related reporting, including W-2 processing, ACA filings, 401(k) compliance testing, and audits
- Provide responsive employee support for payroll and benefits inquiries
- Collaborate with HR and Finance leadership on system enhancements, reporting improvements, and company-wide initiatives
- 5 years of payroll and benefits experience; law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and experience managing employees across multiple jurisdictions
- Proficiency with payroll/HRIS systems (ADP preferred) and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a collaborative mindset
- CPP, PHR, SHRM-CP, or related certification is a plus
- Minimum Education: Associate's Degree
- 5 years of payroll and benefits experience; law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations & experience managing employees across multiple jurisdictions
- Proficiency with payroll/HRIS systems (ADP preferred) and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a collaborative mindset
