Payroll - Ap/Ar Clerk

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experienceSchedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.RequirementsPenmac Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to support daily accounting operations in a professional office environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with light accounting experience who enjoys working with numbers, learning new systems, and contributing to a growing team. Qualified candidates should:

• Have previous experience with accounts payable and/or accounts receivable functions
• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Maintain accuracy while managing multiple tasks

ResponsibilitiesAs an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will assist with a variety of accounting and administrative functions while supporting a company-wide software transition. This role offers the opportunity to learn a new accounting system and play an important part in maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Entering and maintaining financial data accurately
• Processing invoices and payments
• Tracking customer payments and account balances
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for reporting, reconciliation, and data management
• Learning and assisting with the transition from Sage to Acumatica software
• Verifying information for accuracy and completeness
• Supporting accounting and administrative projects as needed
• Maintaining organized and confidential financial records
