Job OverviewThe Payroll & Benefits Clerk's primary role will be to support the Payroll Manager in processing payroll, administering our payroll software, and maintaining complete and accurate payroll records. They will also assist with tasks related to employee benefits, internal and external audits, and other ad hoc projects aimed at streamlining existing workflows. ResponsibilitiesSupport payroll processing and payroll system administration
Maintain accurate payroll records
Assist with employee benefits-related tasks
Contribute to internal and external audit support efforts
Streamline existing workflows
Serve as a resource for employee payroll-related inquiries
Communicate with third-party payroll and benefits providers
Collaborate with the Finance team on specialized projects and departmental priorities as needed
Skills & CompetenciesStrong quantitative and analytical skills
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with respect to sensitive information
Sound judgment, integrity, and dependability
Exceptional time management; ability to adhere to strict deadlines
QualificationsPrior payroll experience (3-5 years)Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelCollege degree in applicable field preferred
Prior employee benefits experience preferred
Prior Ceridian/Dayforce experience ideal but not required
