Job Description
Contingency Staffing has a Payroll and Benefits opportunity open with their Manufacturing client in Upstate New York. This position supports the weekly payroll for 600 plus employees in a union environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the accurate and timely processing of a weekly payroll
- Data entry, timekeeping and managing deductions.
- Maintaining and updating employee records to ensure the accuracy for personal information and salary changes and generating payroll-related reports for management and audit purposes.
Support responsibilities would include:
- processing employee enrollments
- changes and terminations for benefit programs
- Educating employees about FSA & HSA plan benefits, contribution limits, and eligible expenses.
- Assisting employees with 401K enrollment and account management.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years payroll and benefits experience.
- Union experience a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Compensation is a base annual salary of $55,000 to $60,000 depending on experience. Relocation assistance offered. Open to U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents.
