Job Description
Job Title: Payroll - Office Assistant • Location: La Crosse, WI (Onsite) • Contract Duration: 26 weeks • Work Hours: 7AM-3:30PM
Payroll Office Assistant (IN PERSON) – Days (32-40GSA)
• Start date: ASAP • Contract length: 6 months (strong potential for extension – Project work could extent out through 2027) • Guaranteed Hours: 32-40 (work may vary based on week, will always have a minimum of 32 with strong possibility to flex up to 40) • Hours: Day Shift – Open to candidate preference on start time (flexible between 7a-9a) and schedule requests (open to candidates looking to work 4 days per week, for example as long as the request is consistent) • Weekends/Holidays: No weekends or holidays • Education: High School Degree or Equivalent • Experience: 2+ years in Customer Service; 2+ years in Payrolling or Accounting Required • Skillset required: Must be comfortable working in Excel; Workday, UKG, or Kronos experience strongly preferred; Must be comfortable working with large or varying volumes; Must be comfortable operating in a customer service capacity (i.e. answering employee questions regarding pay, how to update their W2, etc) and providing/creating resources (“Knowledge Articles”) for employee use
