Ensemble Performing Arts · Remote · Full-Time · Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000
About the Role
Ensemble Performing Arts is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join our Finance team and support payroll operations for our growing portfolio of performing arts businesses. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and supporting payroll reporting and regulatory compliance. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment, enjoys working with data, and takes pride in maintaining accuracy and compliance in payroll operations. This is a full-time, fully remote position, offering the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and expanding organization in the performing arts industry.
What You'll Do
- Payroll Processing
- Compile and analyze payroll data from business locations across the country
- Triage and resolve payroll errors and processing issuesManage employee inquiries regarding payroll
- Process guaranteed payments and other manual payroll adjustments when required
- Data Management
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRS
- Support payroll system integrations for new acquisitions, including employee data preparation and onboarding and employee support
- Maintain SharePoint files, templates, and reports
- Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare and maintain payroll reports
- Support government reporting requirements, including U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics submissions and unemployment claims
- Prepare and submit non-payroll tax filings when required
- Support annual workers' compensation filings and audits
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience with core payroll functions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive employee data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong Excel skills
