We are currently looking for a Payroll Coordinator / Payroll Specialist in the Orlando, FL area. This is a hybrid role.JOB SUMMARY The Payroll Coordinator / Specialist will support payroll operations with a strong focus on incentive-based compensation. This role requires hands-on experience with payroll processing, manual calculations, auditing, and reviewing payroll data for accuracy. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of payroll fundamentals, strong attention to detail, and the ability to analyze and interpret payroll reports and incentive data.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process payroll with a focus on incentive and variable compensation
- Perform manual calculations related to incentive payouts and variable pay
- Audit payroll data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with target compensation plans
- Review payroll reports and incentive sheets, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues
- Analyze and decipher payroll and incentive reports to validate calculations and payouts
- Support payroll audits and general payroll review activities
- Assist with payroll-related accounting tasks as needed
- Maintain documentation and ensure payroll processes are followed accurately
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, including base payroll and incentive compensation
- Experience with manual payroll calculations and auditing payroll data
- Ability to analyze reports, review incentive sheets, and interpret compensation data
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage sensitive information confidentially
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
- Prior experience as a Payroll Coordinator or Payroll Specialist
- Payroll experience within an accounting or finance environment
- Experience working with incentive compensation or variable pay programs
- Advanced Excel or payroll reporting experience
