Job Description

Payroll Manager

Brooklyn, NY$60k-$120k

A growing company is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations across multiple entities. This role is responsible for accurate payroll processing, compliance, reporting, and improving payroll systems and processes.

Responsibilities

● Process and oversee payroll for multiple companies and employee groups.● Ensure compliance with payroll laws, taxes, and union agreements.● Manage payroll taxes, deductions, PTO, and employee records.● Reconcile payroll, prepare reports, and support audits.● Improve payroll systems, processes, and internal controls.● Partner with HR, Finance, and leadership on payroll matters.

Requirements

● 4+ years of payroll experience, including management experience.● High-volume, multi-company payroll experience required.● Union payroll experience strongly preferred.● Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, taxes, and payroll systems.● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Bilingual in Eglish/Spanish.
