The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll operations, ensuring that all payroll activities are performed accurately and on time. Responsibilities:1. Oversee and manage all payroll operations, ensuring that all payroll activities are performed accurately and on time2. Monitor and resolve payroll discrepancies, investigating and resolving issues promptly and accurately3. Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests4. Handle payroll reports, including tax filings, benefits deductions and other required reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements5. Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions6. Manage and oversee the work of the payroll team, providing guidance, training, and support as needed8. Develop and implement payroll strategies and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy9. Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wagesQualifications:1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a payroll management role2. Strong knowledge of payroll systems and regulations3. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail4. Ability to manage a team and oversee complex payroll operations5.
