About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, and delivering exceptional service to employees regarding payroll inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Process biweekly/semimonthly payroll for all employees with accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct daily and weekly audits to ensure accuracy and perform updates.
- Maintain payroll records, including new hires, terminations, deductions, and benefits.
- Prepare and distribute pay statements, W-2s, and other payroll reports.
- Respond to employee questions related to pay, deductions, and payroll policies.
- Reconcile payroll and assist with month-end and year-end reporting.
- Collaborate with other groups within HR and partnering groups to ensure alignment across systems and processes.
- Support audits and compliance reviews as needed.
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and sound decision-making abilities.
Must Have Qualifications
- 2 year of payroll experience (or HR/accounting background with payroll responsibilities).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Applicants must be able to work directly on W2.
- Proficiency in Google and related products and general data analysis.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Workday.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC).
- Prior experience with the industry is a MUST for this position.
Preferred Skills
- 2 years of payroll experience.
- Education Level – Bachelor’s Degree is Mandatory in the field of Computer Science.

- Manage daily payroll operations and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve payroll processes.
- Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll matters.
