Job DetailsThis role processes payroll on a recurring cycle and maintains compliance across all applicable jurisdictions.Responsibilities

• * Process multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule for both hourly and salaried employees
• * Review and audit timekeeping data, including overtime, PTO, and shift differentials
• * Administer garnishments, deductions, benefit elections, and 401(k) contributions
• * Reconcile payroll registers and prepare payroll journal entries for the general ledger
• * Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour requirements
• * Prepare and reconcile quarterly and annual filings including W-2s
• * Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies
• * Support audits, workers compensation reporting, and payroll system improvements

Qualifications

• * Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience
• * Multi-state payroll experience
• * Knowledge of federal and state wage and hour regulations
• * Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Paylocity, or UKG
• * Strong Excel skills and proven discretion with confidential information
• * High school diploma required, Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus
