Job Description

JSG is recruiting a Payroll Specialist for a client in Wilmington DE. The selected candidate will be a key player in payroll operations, and oversee US payroll tax reporting, filings, and planning, working with leading payroll systems such as SAP, ADP GlobalView, and UKG Pro. Pay $46/hourRequired Skills:

Minimum 3-5 years of payroll administration experience, with a strong understanding of payroll tax regulations.*
Proficiency in payroll systems such as SAP, ADP GlobalView, and UKG Pro.*
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling confidential information.*
Strong written and verbal communication skills.*
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects effectively.*
Experience with payroll tax reconciliation, filings (941, 940, W2, W2c), and audit support.*
Familiarity with federal and multi-state payroll laws and compliance.

Nice to Have Skills:

Knowledge of financial reporting requirements and SEC experience.*
Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures related to payroll taxes.*
CPA certification or advanced degree in related fields.*
Working knowledge of general ledger reconciliation and HR policies.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Other Requirements:

Ability to adapt to changing regulations and emerging industry trends.*
Prior experience working with payroll systems such as Workday or SAP Payroll is strongly preferred.*
Willingness to support year-end processes, audits, and new system implementations.
