Job Description
Our client located in the Keene, NH area is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team! Your qualifications for the Payroll Specialist position are as follows:
- High School Diploma*
- 2+ years recent/relevant payroll experience*
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office Excel *
- Experience with accounting/payroll software required*
- Experience with Paychex software is a plus*
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills*
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills*
- Professional verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills*
- Ability to work effectively with shifting priorities to meet deadlines

- Full time schedule Monday Friday *
- $24-$29/hour depending on skills and experience*

As the Payroll Specialist your duties will include:
- Process payroll *
- Prepare and pay taxes*
- Reconcile accounts*
- Track and manage retirement benefit data*
- Ensure accurate employee/payroll data *
- Assist employees with payroll question*
- Ensure compliance with Federal/State/Local standards*
- Other projects and duties as assigned
