Job Description
- Process bi‑weekly or weekly payroll using Paycom (preferred).
- Review and validate timecards, PTO, overtime, and wage adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism.
- Prepare payroll reports for Finance and HR leadership.
- Assist with FMLA tracking, documentation, and communication.
- Maintain awareness of state labor laws and support compliance.
- Coordinate workers’ compensation claims and reporting.
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments and changes.
- Assist with annual open enrollment activities.
- Maintain employee files and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- 2–3 years of payroll experience required (Paycom experience strongly preferred).
- Working knowledge of FMLA, state labor laws, workers’ compensation, and benefits.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the company is highly valued.
