Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage accurate and timely payroll processing for five company entities. This role oversees payroll administration, employee record maintenance, benefits deductions, 401(k) contributions, payroll reporting, and compliance while supporting employees and management with payroll-related questions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and review payroll for five company entities, including overtime, bonuses, adjustments, and reimbursements.
- Maintain employee payroll records and process new hires, terminations, and compensation changes.
- Administer benefits deductions, 401(k) contributions, garnishments, and other required deductions.
- Review timekeeping records and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Coordinate payroll taxes, reporting, reconciliations, and audit documentation.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and maintain confidential records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable payroll laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of payroll processing experience required.
- Experience with multi-entity or multi-state payroll preferred.
- Paycom or similar payroll/HRIS system experience required or strongly preferred.
- Strong Excel, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong understanding of payroll administration, deductions, and compliance.
- Finance, HR, or business-related education preferred; equivalent experience considered.
