Payroll Specialist/Financial Crew

Looking for someone to maintain current and accurate accounting records for all unified government transactions. Will balance petty cash, perform monthly bank reconciliations, maintain government system, assist with annual budget provess as needed, assist in preparing audit reports and information for annual audit, process bi-weekly payroll and all required filings, assist other areas when needed, perform research when needed, greet and assist visitors, answer phone, direct calls, scan and file documents, maintain spreadsheets, invoice tax, and bill fuel usage. Must have knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with bachelor degree in accounting, sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with apprenticeship/internship or similar experience for one-two years, and understanding of governmental fund accounting. Must have clean CBC.
