Hiring: Payroll Tax Specialist (Backend Payroll)
Location :North Chicago, IL 60064
• Key Responsibilities:• Handle post-payroll processing and payroll tax activities• Work with state agencies, tax vendors, and third-party administrators• Manage tax notices, power of attorney documentation, and third-party authorizations• Support multi-state payroll tax compliance and filings (federal, state, FICA)• Assist with payroll tax reporting and issue resolution• Participate in testing and project-related payroll tax activities• Collaborate through internal ticketing systems and vendor communications
• Required Skills:• 2 3 years of payroll tax experience• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and FICA tax regulations• Experience with payroll tax filing and compliance processes• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
Additional Details: 100% onsite role Strong team collaboration with internal teams and external tax vendors
