Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Cashier/Gate Keeper is the front-line guest relations position at Pirates Cove. The position greets guests as they enter and exit the facility as well as providing excellent customer service including, as applicable, controlling facility admission and performing cash handling including operating a cash register drawer. This position interacts with customers to answer questions and resolve problems, directs customers to proper locations, provides information, communicates and enforces facility policies and procedures. Must be willing to work weekdays, weekends and holidays and requires excellent customer service skills and general math skills.
All final candidates must consent to a criminal background check.

- Sell admission tickets to customers, handle coupons, cash and credit card payments.
- Run a point of sales cash register.
- Answer general information from guests in person.
- Greeting guests as they enter and thanking guests exiting the facility.
- Stamp hands of guests who exit the park and wish to return.
- Direct parties and groups to group sales.
- Check bags to not allow restricted items into the facility.
- Maintain a clean work area.
PREPARATION AND TRAINING
The Cashier/Gate Keeper must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a willingness to perform general guest relations duties. Possessing a good grasp of basic math is a must. A combination of education and/or experience that has provided the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for excellent job performance may be considered.

HOURLY PAY RANGE
$15.16 - $23.20/Hourly Rate
Anticipated Starting Rate: $15.46/Hourly Rate
