Pediatric COTA Opportunity! Private practice with clinic and home health options!
Clayton, CA (serving families across Contra Costa & Alameda Counties)
A growing pediatric practice is looking for an experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who wants flexibility, autonomy, and room to grow! Opened in 2023 (with a beautiful new clinic that opened May 2025!), this multidisciplinary team is building something steady, organic, and community-centered.
Why it’s different:
- No forcing therapists into work they don’t enjoy
- Opportunity to build groups/classes around your niche interests
- Gorgeous new clinic + exciting therapy gym
- Easygoing, supportive culture set by an owner who is also a clinician
- Flexible scheduling — build your own schedule or have it built for you
The role:
- Clinic and/or home health options!
- Home health is mostly Early Intervention, and caseload can be built near you
- Can work full-time in the clinic if desired!
- Full-time or part-time (15+ hours/week minimum)
- Weekend hours available
Pay & Perks:
- $30-50/hour ($63k-104k/yearly compensation), depending on experience and schedule
- Full-time salary or hourly options available!
- PTO + paid sick time
- Paid holidays
- Medical (75% employer-paid), vision & dental
- 401k
- CEU budget
- Mileage reimbursement
- iPad/phone provided for documentation
Requirements:
- California Occupational Therapy Assistant License
- 3 years of pediatric experience preferred, but any OTA is encouraged to apply!
- Flexible, curious mindset
- Team player who is dedicated to working with pediatrics
No strict productivity tracking. No random kids dropped onto your schedule. Documentation can be done during sessions. Ramp-up plans are collaborative.
If your priorities are flexibility, clear communication with your supervising OT, and steady growth — then this could be a great fit!
