We' re currently seeking a full-time Pediatric Clinic Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant- COTA (55K-65K) in the Rockville, MD area to work with clients from 18 months- 6 years. Current MD Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license

Role Overview:The Occupational Therapy Assistant works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and is responsible for the providing occupational therapy services to supplement the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). COTA will work collaboratively with a team of therapists, in order for clients to receive comprehensive care.Responsibilities:

Follow company policies and procedures.
Assist the Occupational Therapist in conducting screenings and evaluations.
Help clients to improve their fine and gross motor skills.
Treat clients with therapeutic and self-care activities.
Monitors clients progress to make sure that they re successfully completing treatment.
Maintain accurate client records and ensure proper billing and documentation.
Safely use departmental equipment for client care.
Maintain certification and licensure.
