As a new Full-Time Dental Assistant at Happy Kids Dentistry, your daily routine will be both rewarding and engaging. Expect to greet our young patients with a warm smile, helping them feel comfortable and excited about their dental visits. You'll assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring that everything runs smoothly while keeping the atmosphere light and fun. A typical day includes preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and taking dental x-rays.

You'll also be responsible for explaining treatment plans to parents and helping kids understand the importance of dental hygiene through playful interactions. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, allowing you to enjoy evenings and weekends with family and friends. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Experience as a dental assistant preferred or willing to be fully trained• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods• Understanding of health & safety regulations• Ability to perform prophylaxis as well as taking digital radiographs• Good computer skills• Excellent communication and people skills• Attention to detail• Well-organized and reliable• High school diploma; graduating from dental assisting program is preferred• Is committed to continuing growth in a long term career• Is a team-player• Can think outside of the box• willing to create better processes and collaborate with the team while having fun• Is dedicated to operating with integrity (keeping your word)• Emotionally intelligent problem solver
