Overview
Job Description
- Provide comprehensive pediatric primary care to children and adolescents.
- Serve as an EMR super user and provider advocate.
- Support accreditation readiness (Joint Commission, HRSA, OSV, etc.).
- Mentor, supervise, and evaluate pediatric clinical staff.
- Ensure provider adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in establishing and monitoring provider performance expectations.
- Assist with oversight of students, residents, and trainees in Pediatrics.
- Contribute to planning and implementing new pediatric services and care delivery models.
- Support preventive health and wellness initiatives within the department.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school; or ECFMG-certified equivalent.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, or Med-Peds.
- Valid Maryland medical license and DEA certification (or eligibility).
- Ambulatory care experience preferred; leadership or supervisory experience a plus.
- Strong communication skills and cultural competence.
- Experience with managed care, PCMH requirements, and EMR systems.
- Ability to manage multiple clinical and administrative tasks efficiently.
- 70/30 Clinical to Administrative time
