Job Description

Pediatrics- EndocrinologyJoin our dedicated team as a Pediatrics- Endocrinology Specialist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with hormonal and metabolic conditions. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide expert care through a combination of in-person clinic work and virtual hospital call coverage, ensuring comprehensive patient support in a dynamic environment. You will be vital in managing ongoing patient care, contributing to clinical excellence, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team committed to pediatric health.Required Skills:

Board-certified or eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Valid medical license in good standing, or eligible for temporary AK state license

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with telemedicine platforms
Prior outpatient and hospital-based endocrinology care
Familiarity with pediatric growth and development assessment
Bilingual skills in English and Spanish

Preferred Education and Experience:

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Residency in Pediatrics
Fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology
At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in pediatric endocrinology

Other Requirements:

Ability to obtain temporary Alaska state licensure while full licensure is in progress
Willingness to participate in a hybrid schedule: two weeks per month in clinic and two weeks per month on virtual hospital call
Availability for extended hours including night and weekend call coverage
Flexibility to adapt to flexible work hours, including after-hours clinical responsibilities
