Job Description

Work Setting:

  • Inpatient Pediatric, Newborn, and Nursery Units

  • ️ 18 beds pediatric/newborn, 5 beds nursery

  • Avg. daily census: 8 patients

Responsibilities:

  • Provide inpatient pediatric and newborn care

  • Perform procedures including lumbar punctures and circumcisions

  • Utilize Vocera Edge pager system for communication

  • ️ Collaborate with 24/7 support from nursing, lab, respiratory therapy, radiology, ultrasound, PT, OT

Requirements:

  • Board Certified Pediatrician (required)

  • Procedural skills: lumbar puncture, circumcision

Compensation:

  • $2,650 per 24-hour call shift

  • ️ Travel covered

  • Lodging covered

  • ️ Malpractice insurance covered
