At Pyramid Healthcare Mountaineer Inpatient in Kearneysville, we specialize in Substance Use Disorder treatment. Pyramid Healthcare Inc. has been in operations since 1999 and we currently operate over 80 programs in 8 different states, offering a full continuum of high-quality behavioral health care for individuals suffering from substance use disorders, mental health concerns, and other behavioral health issues.   • Hourly Rate: $15-20/hour
  • Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 10:30am-9:00pm
  • Address: 3094 Charles Town Road, Kearneysville, WV
  • REQUIRED: Initial certification as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist through the West Virginia Certification Board of Addiction and Prevention Professionals

Job duties/responsibilities:

  • Provide peer support services utilizing lived experience to support client recovery and engagement.  
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team members to support client care and recovery planning.  
  • Assist clients in establishing connections with community resources and ongoing support systems.  
  • Maintain regular contact with referral sources as directed.  
  • Prepare and complete concurrent reviews and communications with referral sources as assigned.  
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation of all client and collateral contacts in the medical record.  
  • Participate in peer record review processes and quality assurance activities.  
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with staff across all disciplines.  
  • Keep supervisor informed of client progress, concerns, and service needs.  
  • Provide transportation for clients to access community-based resources and services as needed.  
  • Participate in emergency service coverage as assigned, including after-hours support, crisis planning, hospital diversion, and commitment procedures. 
  • Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with regard to all company information 
  • Completion of all required trainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Education/Experience:

  • REQUIRED: Initial certification as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist through the West Virginia Certification Board of Addiction and Prevention Professionals
  • REQUIRED: High school diploma or GED equivalent
