Job Description

Brio Real Estate is a Blackstone Real Estate portfolio company focused on real estate credit. Brio supports Blackstone’s Real Estate Debt Strategies (“BREDS”) investments across the globe. The company provides support across key functions, including corporate, transaction, and management services. The critical infrastructure and capabilities Brio provides for BREDS allows for effective support in the management of its global portfolio.

Today, BREDS has more than $76 billion of investor capital across high yield / opportunistic real estate credit funds, a publicly traded Mortgage REIT, and liquid securities strategies. What you will do:

  • Drive measurable business performance by aligning people strategies to company and business unit goals.
  • Partner with leaders to translate business objectives into actionable talent plans that improve productivity, engagement, and retention.
  • Coach leaders to elevate team performance, strengthen accountability, and deliver sustained results.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with assigned business units that you support, including regular 1:1s with leaders providing guidance and solutions to people priorities.
  • Support our people operations day-to-day tasks, as well as project-oriented responsibilities.
  • Successfully monitor, report, and recommend solutions on the "pulse" of the employee experience to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
  • Support and drive engagement and culture initiatives that strengthen connection, morale, and performance across teams.
  • Lead employee relations, performance management, mobility, and reward programs to increase retention of top talent and address performance challenges quickly and effectively.
  • Partner with leaders to build succession pipelines and run calibration processes that improve talent visibility and readiness.
  • Track people operations scorecards and KPIs to measure impact, inform decisions, and continuously improve the function.
  • Communicate policy updates and organizational changes clearly and effectively, ensuring alignment, compliance, and minimal disruption.

What you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • Experience working with HRIS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented, process driven, and well organized
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Key skills and abilities include influencing, facilitation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving
  • Good prioritization skills, ability to pivot and shift gears if project priorities change
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of emotional intelligence
