Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Coordinator / Skilled Trades Recruiting Sourcer to support high-volume recruiting for skilled trades positions. This role is fully remote and focuses on sourcing top talent for positions such as Electricians, Welders, Mechanics, HVAC Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, and Machinists.

The ideal candidate must have strong skilled trades recruiting experience along with hands-on experience using Avature (ATS/CRM).

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Sourcing

• Source skilled trades candidates through Avature, LinkedIn, job boards, social media, and trade-specific platforms.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical roles and geographic markets.
• Research target companies, trade schools, unions, veteran programs, and local talent markets.
• Engage candidates via phone, email, SMS, and social media outreach.

Candidate Screening

• Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate experience, certifications, compensation expectations, shift preferences, location, and work authorization.
• Present qualified candidates to recruiters and hiring managers.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the early stages of the hiring process.

Avature ATS/CRM Management

• Utilize Avature daily to source, organize, tag, and manage candidate profiles.
• Create and execute email/SMS campaigns and manage talent communities.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and generate basic sourcing and pipeline reports.

Collaboration

• Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and required qualifications.
• Provide market insights on talent availability, compensation trends, and competitor activity.
• Recommend new sourcing strategies, including trade schools, apprenticeship programs, job fairs, and veteran organizations.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 7-15+ years of recruiting or sourcing experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience recruiting for skilled trades positions such as Electricians, Welders, Mechanics, HVAC Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, or Machinists.
• Demonstrated success sourcing passive and active skilled trades candidates.

Avature Experience

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Avature ATS and/or CRM.
• Experience creating talent pools, running advanced searches, managing campaigns, and generating basic reports.

Skills

• Strong Boolean search and sourcing expertise using LinkedIn, job boards, and social media.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with candidates and internal stakeholders.

Education

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and recruiting experience.

Interview Process

• One virtual interview.
