Job Title: Business Systems Analyst – PeopleSoft Financials
Location: Saint Paul, MN (Hybrid - Remote with onsite presence as needed (1 day/week))
Duration: April 2026 – February 2028 | Full-Time (40 hrs./week)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to provide functional and technical analysis support for PeopleSoft Financials. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, PeopleSoft functional teams, and technical developers to support system enhancements, defect resolution, testing, and ongoing production support.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in PeopleSoft Financials, strong analytical skills, and experience working in a structured, compliance‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements
- Translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications
- Support system design, configuration, enhancements, and upgrades
- Perform impact analysis across PeopleSoft Financials and HRMS modules
- Analyse defects, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution with development teams
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Support and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Validate data integrity and support integrations and interfaces
- Assist with reporting and query development using PS Query and SQL
- Maintain comprehensive documentation (requirements, process flows, technical specifications)
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align business processes with system functionality
- Ensure adherence to organisational standards, compliance requirements, and best practices
- Provide updates and support through ticketing and production support systems
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.)
- 10+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft Business Systems Analyst
- Strong hands‑on experience with PeopleSoft Financials
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Authorised to work in the United States
- Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting PeopleSoft Finance applications in the Public Sector
- Experience working in hybrid office/telework environments
- Strong communication skills and experience working with ticketing systems
- Ability to work independently within a collaborative team environment
