Job Description

Location: St. Paul, MNSalary: $75.00 USD Hourly - $90.00 USD HourlyDescription:

Narrative Description of Position:

The consultant will provide technical support and development services for PeopleSoft HRMS systems in coordination with the existing PeopleSoft team. Responsibilities include analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving application issues; performing root cause analysis; and supporting system integrations and batch processes.
The consultant will design, develop, test, and deploy PeopleSoft customizations using PeopleTools technologies such as Application Engine, PeopleCode, SQR, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker, and Fluid/UI components. They will support data fixes, SQL performance tuning, and database-level analysis.
Additional duties include assisting with system upgrades, patches, and regulatory updates; supporting interfaces with third-party systems; maintaining technical documentation; and participating in code reviews, migration processes, and release management. The consultant will also collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring adherence to development standards and best practice.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.), preferably in Computer Science or a related technical field
10+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft Developer supporting PeopleSoft HRMS
Strong hands‑on experience with PeopleTools and related technologies

Preferred Qualifications

Extensive experience working as a PeopleSoft Developer in the public sector
Experience with ERP implementations and migrations from PeopleSoft to other ERP platforms
Strong communication skills and experience supporting production environments
