Salem Hospital, a member of Mass General Brigham, is the largest community hospital on the North Shore of Massachusetts. We provide high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with our academic medical center partners at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital. Our hospitalist team plays a critical role in delivering exceptional inpatient care to our diverse patient population.
Job Description:
We are seeking Per Diem Hospitalists to join our dedicated and collaborative team at Salem Hospital. This role offers flexibility and an opportunity to work in a dynamic community hospital setting while benefiting from the resources and expertise of the Mass General Brigham system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality inpatient medical care, including admissions, rounding, and discharges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including specialists, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff.
- Manage acute medical conditions in hospitalized patients and coordinate care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based clinical care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and referring providers.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree required.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts.
- Prior experience in a hospitalist role preferred but not required.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Per Diem role with flexible scheduling, including day, night, and weekend shifts based on availability and department needs.
